Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! My name is Naishla Cantu, and this is my third year teaching Kinder at R.D. Martinez Elementary. I absolutely love the enthusiasm and energy the students have in this grade level! We learn through play and sing most of the day.
About Me: I have two little ones of my own! My 6 year old girl attends First Grade at Martinez Elementary, and my 4 year old boy will be joining Pre-K this year. I love getting lost in a good book for hours at a time, which is usually how I spend my summers! I enjoy watching superhero movies with my family, and taking trips with my kids as often as possible.
Education: I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business, and in 2009 I completed my Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. I am certified to teach EC-6/Bilingual.
