Sharyland ISD is committed to making sure that students have access to healthy nutritious meals during Virtual Learning. That is why the Sharyland ISD Child Nutrition Program is teaming up with our Transportation department to introduce our new “Fresh Express Buses” Bus stop meals distribution program. This program is intended for the student who does not have personal transportation to get to their home campus to pick up curb side meals. These meals will be charged in the same manner as in-school meals would be. The schools buses will be serving Meals on the bus routes of Jensen, Garza, Martinez and Bentsen Elementary, every Monday and Wednesday. Meal Service Distribution times are 10:45a.m.-11:45a.m. and 12:00p.m -1:00 p.m.
Just bring a Sharyland ISD student ID number to receive your meals and check the bus route that is closest to you!
Parents, you will now be able to use a new app to track the bus as it nears the designated bus stop. Use this guide for information on downloading the Here Comes the Bus app for free. General information on the app can be found here: https://herecomesthebus.com/parents/
