I graduated from UTPA with a bachelors in
Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Bilingual/ESL education, 1st-8th grade. I also have an endorsement in Early childhood, PK-K. I also have a master's degree from UTRGV in Reading and Literacy with a Legacy Master Reading Teacher and Reading Specialist Certification. I also recently got certified as an Academic Language Practitioner (CALP).
I have been teaching for 27 years. I taught grades PK-through 4th grade in the general education classroom and am currently working with students in grades K-6 as a reading specialist.
I am very excited to start a new year and am looking
forward to working with you and your child.
